Self-Esteem

Written for Michelle Sims, CEO, YUPRO Placement

In May my daughter graduated from Texas State University and, as she starts her job search, we often discuss the role that self-esteem plays in finding success.

Here's what I tell her:
๐Ÿ‘‰The opportunities that come your way are a reflection of what you believe about yourself.
๐Ÿ‘‰Our thoughts guide our behaviors. If you don't believe you have a high worth, your behaviors will show that, and others will see it as well.

This is especially crucial for new graduates like Leanna because performing in an interview doesn't come naturally, no matter what anyone says.

There isn't room for self-doubt: You need to show the interviewer that you are deserving of the role.

And step one is to believe that yourself.
